Maybe this will fix some existing problems in clonezilla.
I have verifiable error when writing an image to a different partition for archival using Partition Image or ntfsclone, and using gzip or lzo . The new created images can not be accessed from linux or W$ file without repairing first with chkdsk. I'm pretty sure it must be an ntfs3g problem.
I will build new version with NTFS-3G ver 1.616 Stable(from 6-17-2007) to see if the problem clears and report back.
Thanks for a great Live CD! :)

OK, I didnt have to rebuild version 1.0.3-18 of clonezilla, because I noticed you have a beta version 1.0.4-3exp that already has a newer version of ntfs-3g included.
When I used the beta version 1.0.4-3exp to archive my XP images, all results were sucessfully written to the ntfs partition with NO ERRORS! yippe :)
