Sorry for the too much long subject, but I tried to describe what I'm
looking to get, it is, I have some (about 20) old PCs with 250 GB drive
and Vista installed (using about 80 GB), I have to install Xubuntu on a
new partition and make a dual boot. Xubuntu installer can do all that
without trouble, and I did it on one PC. I'd like to clone the new Xubuntu
partition and put it on the other 19 PCs. The problem is that to do that I
have also to resize first the Vista ntfs filesystem and partition, create
the new partition for Xubuntu, save and restore the boot record so taht the
dual boot will work. The simplest way should be to clone the entire disk
after the Xubuntu install and verification that all is working (also Vista
and dual boot), but in such way I'm going to loose the specific SID of all
Vista machines. Are there some automatic way to accomplish this task?

Thx to replying people, regards to all (and sorry for my poor English; if
you have trouble to understand, please let me know)

Does SID matter? If you, just take the goden image then deploy it to all machines.
If not, you might have to have your own script to resize and create the partition you need.
