I was having the same error here in my scenario. Here I have a Clonezilla Server (I formatted the Ubuntu Linux OS and installed the latest version of Clonezilla Server from scratch) on the network where I connect, send and receive images via SSH. However, with some specific workstations (even though they are identical to the other models, peripherals, completely new computer removed from the box, without any difference from other models that had previously sent the discs) I received this same message:
“ No space left on the device or there is a permission issue. Hence the data can not be written to this dir:: /homr/partimag. The saved image file /home/partimag/ is incomplete! You have to increase the disk space, then start clonezilla saber mode again. ”
I reassessed my entire scenario, network, cabling, rules and permissions, I used several versions of Clonezilla Live (I use the pendriver to initialize the boot), but without success.
Problem resolution:
All my workstations use Windows10 and the error occurs due to the network card driver, in some cases when I update the network driver using the official driver from the manufacturer, in my case Lenovo I have this error when sending images for my Clonezilla server. For a solution I have to uninstall and delete the Windows network card driver and let Windows itself (Windows Update) install the network card driver, after that, problem solved!
I boot Windows from the workstation I want to push to the Clonezilla Server
Uninstall and delete the network adapter driver in "Device Manager" (you will be offline)
Restart Windows 10
I log in with the local user and wait for the automatic installation of Windows, after waiting a while the machine connects to the network again.
I turn off the computer, boot with Clonezilla Live via USB stick and send the disk to the Clonezilla server via SSH without any problems!
I believe this problem can happen when sending the disc via SAMBA server as well.
I'm Brazilian and I'm using google translator, sorry for the bad english.
Hope I helped someone!
