Are there any options available for running Clonezilla live to keep it from causing fans to go to high speed (running cpu(s) at very high %-age?) ?
Thanks for asking. Right now there is no any option about this. However, we will add the package "fancontrol" in the next testing release next week and you might be able to use that to control your fans.

I should have called it "cpu usage" that makes the fans run high, but you know what I mean. Thanks, great program!
We have added fancontrol in the testing Clonezilla live >= 2.4.3-3 or >= 20151116-wily. You can try to use that to control the fan. We still haven't test it and if you find a good way to use it, please let us know.
