I’m attempting to make a backup of my proxmox host with Clonezilla. After booting from USB and making initial settings like choosing disk to image and destination disk, it seems to be doing something on my local disk for almost half an hour now as the disk activity led is constantly flashing and I don’t know what…

The last lines on my screen are:

    Setting the TERM as linux

    Starting /usr/sbin/ocs-sr at 2021-12-08 16:15:22 UTC…

Is this normal behavior? What is it doing and why is it taking so long?

How about giving Clonezilla live 2021116-impish, or even 2.8.1-10, 20211222-jammy a try?

So if you press "Enter" or Ctrl-C, any response?
Or try to change to another console by pressing "Ctrl-Alt-F2", to see if you can enter a command line prompt. If so, actually you can run "sudo clonezilla" to start its main menu.
BTW, Is this issue reproducible on another type of machine?
