i have an clonezilla image back up from my old laptop hp core i3.
Can i restore it to my new lenovo core i5 laptop??
You will probably be able to restore the image to your new laptop, but I'm not sure if Windows will be able to boot because of the new hardware. My experience is that you will most likely get a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death), since Windows installations are really picky about hardware changes. Maybe if you sysprep your old laptop before making an image of it. As I understand it Microsoft doesn't support imaging to other hardware if you don't use sysprep. Or you might be able to repair the installation. If your new laptop has a preinstalled OS on it, I would make an image of that as a backup and then just try it.
