clonezilla and usb drive

Hello, this my very first use of Clonezilla. I downloaded TUXBOOT after I had downloaded Clonezilla.I bought a 500 Gigs Seagate HD. I run TUXBOOT and it tells me that it can not find an usb drive. That if one is connected it should be formatted to FAT32. Is this correct? Is my brand new 3.0 frive not supported by Clonezilla? Do I format my hd within Windows 7? Sorry for the basic questions.

Reading a bit more, I think I need to create a bootable usb stick first then I would use my 500 gb HD as the target for my C: drive clone?
Well, no answer!! I went with Windows 7 system image and also did a bootable cd. Super easy. I will uninstall Clonezilla and Tuxboot.
