We are making the switch to Win10 here at work and when we set HP laptops to secure boot no matter which video option I choose on the main screen the next screen just goes to random lines across the screen and continues until it loads.

Please give Clonezilla live 2.5.2-17 or 20170627-* a try:

I have tried this version, still does the same thing, HP laptops only with secure boot enabled have the issue. I currently have to dump a generic image on them in legacy mode, restart and change the bios back to secure boot.

I have seen this issue before. Solution was to enable Legacy boot on the HP client (which disables Secure boot).

I have a question, though. How do you boot into Clonezilla with Secure boot enabled? I have never managed to do that.

Per the download page: "If your machine comes with uEFI secure boot enabled, you have to use AMD64 version of alternative (Ubuntu-based) Clonezilla live."

Nice post. This issue is very important and common.
