Relative new computer running Windows 7 pro 64-bit.
I posted about this problem before but misstated what I think is
the problem .It is NOT the mouse.
Running Clonezilla-live V.2.2.4-12-i686-pae.iso.
This computer is using a Gigabyte MB. I use the same
Clonezilla program on Wiffies Dell running windows 7 pro 32-bit
and have no problems.
So when I run Clonezilla-live and power down the computer, it
boots up to where I see the desktop and stops there.
Hitting the Microsoft key has NO affect.
Mouse does not move. Can't do anything but power down.
If more info is needed I will be most happy to supply it.
Thanks for Clonezilla....

So what's the status there? Is this issue still there?
BTW, maybe you can give newer, testing Clonezilla live a try: http://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
Steven.

I am still having the problem.
My latest backup used V.2.3.2-22-i686-pae.
I have to use a System Repair cd to get the
system to work again.
Thanks for answering

Oh, I meant the "testing" one, like Clonezilla live 2.4.2-4 or 20150525-vivid now.
Could you please give them a try and let us know the results?
Thanks.
Steven.

So the restoration was OK, and MS Windows boots, however, it just does not accept and input?
If so, Clonezilla has restored the system for you. It looks like your restored MS Windows has some issue with the restored system.
Did you try to unplug your keyboard and mouse, then plug it again?
Steven.

Looks like a problem I'm going to have to live with as long as
I have windows 7 pro 64-bit. I'm never going to Window 8 or 10.
Thank you for helping.
