Hi,
I am having a bit of difficulty making a copy of a drive onto another drive. Both are RAID arrays on an IBM ServeRaid (Adaptec) controller and both are in the proces of being built. I could wait for the target array to be fully built but the source array has a problem and is stuck in auto-sync where it has been for days.
Even so the operating system is on this array and both arrays work as expected. In other words the building process does not affect the drives as far as the user is concerned. What I want to do is take a copy of the source, delete and rebuild the suspect array and copy back to the rebuilt array.
I am not familiar with either the quick-init or auto-sync processes at the low level and want to know if Clonezilla live should be able to cope with the cloning process on these arrays.

RAID is complicated, so I am not sure if Clonezilla will work for you. If you want to try, please backup important data before you use Clonezilla.
