Made a USB stick with method A (Tuxboot)

When i boot my system up Clonezilla hangs on:

    GNU GRUB version 1.99-18
Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported.  For the fist word, TAB
lists possible command completions.  Anywhere else TAB lists possible
       device or file completions.
    grub> _

Directly after selecting my USB stick to boot. Get a prompt no Clonezilla.

I have a Lenovo E325 and have tried the AMD version and i486 version of the live stable and testing versions.

I have had the same problems but found a work-around.

Turn off the computer completely and make sure all external (USB etc) drives are disconnected before booting Clonezilla. You can plug them in during the cloning process it gives you the prompt when to plug them in.

I recently had this very discussion with Steven (Clonezilla guru)  but I can't find the details here. He suggested a few things that did not work for me with an Acer netbook, win7, but may help you. See if you can contact him directly via email.

"GNU GRUB version 1.99-18" -> By default, with tuxboot, only syslinux should be shown.
No idea why you see the grub prompt…

    Steven.
