I'm trying to backup the hdd on my notebook Asus X71Sl (ext4 partition with base Archlinux, about 2Gb of data) on a samba share of my little nas (raspberry + usb hdd) with clonezilla stable releases - 2.3.2-22 (but i've tried also alternative stable releases - 20150217-utopic with the same result)
According to Clonezilla, cloning seems to be successfull infact i see:
Cloned successfully
Checking the disk space...
Time elapsed: xx.xx sec (~ x.xxxsec)
and after that a blinking prompt for minutes and minutes.
After an hour or so usually i force to reboot my notebook and check the samba shares where there is always the directory clonezilla created with some files in but if a try to restore i don't a have a "restore partition" in clonezilla menu.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Could you please show us the contents of your image repository when you encounter no "restore partition" issue by:
tree /home/partimag/
Please also identify the image you have issue.
Thanks.
Steven.
