Hey Guys, I've googled this problem and see it answered a lot; however none of it makes much sense to me because my setup is slightly different. So I thought I'd try for myself. Here goes. I'm an IT guy - but mostly Windows - not Linux. I have a Western Digital HD I want to clone. This drive works just fine. It is from a proprietary gaming console that I own. It uses Ubuntu 10.04 and boots directly into the game when it boots up. I'm afraid I may lose this drive one day and I simply want to make a couple clones of it. When I try to clone it with Clonezilla - it tells me it can't because there is a partition outside of the disk. My first thought is, clone it block for block anyway and I'll be ok with that. Since it works. But it will not do that either (dd) option. So I guess, the first question I have is, is there a switch or utility that will clone this disk and ignore the partition outside the disk? Or is there a simple way to fix this? Thank you in advance for all of your help.

"But it will not do that either (dd) option. So I guess, the first question I have is, is there a switch or utility that will clone this disk and ignore the partition outside the disk? " -> You can try to enter expert mode, and choose "-icds" and "-k1" options:
