The Linux kernel is from Debian or Ubuntu repository. Hence defintely you can find that. Just check the content of live/filesystem.packages from Clonezilla live. You will find the linux-image package. Then locate it on Debian/Ubuntu repository, e.g., https://packages.debian.org https://packages.ubuntu.com

Is there a config file for building the Clonezilla Live kernel? I'm trying to debug https://sourceforge.net/p/clonezilla/discussion/Help/thread/b61db8543b/.
https://gitlab.com/stevenshiau/clonezilla/blob/master/clonezilla.spec appears helpful. However, I'm a little lost after downloading sources from https://sourceforge.net/projects/clonezilla/files/clonezilla_live_testing/2.6.5-1/source/clonezilla-live-src-2.6.5-1-i686.debian.tar/download. I see folders labeled alphabetically, and am unsure how to build the kernel from this.
