I'm trying to restore from a Clonezilla backup disk image to another drive and Clonezilla fails when it tries to create a partition table on the receiving drive.  It says sector 0 does not have an msdos signature.  I can create an msdos partition table with other software just fine, but after Clonezilla fails, then other software shows that there is no partition table.  So it seems as if Clonezilla clears the partition table but then can't create a new one.  Any advice?  Please let me know if you need more info.

    Thanks

How did you run Clonezilla? Could you please describe very step in detail.
Please also take a photo about the error message then post it.
    Thanks.

    Steven.

I chose the following options in the first few screens:

    device-image
    local-device
    beginner mode
    restoredisk

Here is the command that was generated:

    /opt/drbl/sbin/ocs-sr -g auto -e1 auto -e2 -c -r -j2 -p true restoredisk 2012-04-13-12-img-OpenSUSE-Drive sdb

The original drive the backup came from was an 80gig drive.  The drive to which the OpenSUSE image was backed up is 500GB, and the drive to which I'm trying to restore is a 320GB hard drive.
