I use 2 computers with opensuse 42.2. If I make a backup everything works fine on one Computer. On the otherone I allways get trouble with the BTRFS-partition. Clonezilla tries to use partclone and then stops with "checking disk space... failed to use partclone to save or restore an image!" By using the option "use dd" it runs. There is enough disk space.

Do you use something special in btrfs? Like RAID?

No nothing. It's just the adjustion from the installation. On both computers it is the same.

    This is weird.
We will switch to use partclone 0.3.x in testing release in a few weeks, so mabye you can wait and test it again then.

I just tried version clonezilla-live-2.5.0-18-amd64.iso. It works perfect. It runs with BTRFS, NTFS, FAT and EXT.

    Hi,
I tried clonezilla-live-2.5.0-25-amd64.iso and opensuse42.1. The same as discribed at first.
Clonezilla stops with the same error.

You meant you have a fresh installation of OpenSuSE 42.1 with BTRFS, and Clonezilla live 2.5.0-25 has an issue to save it?
In that case, could you reproduce this issue on virtual machine like virtualbox? If so, please share the virtual disk so that we can try to fix it.
    Thanks.
