I used CZ to create a disk-image.
After restoring the image, the (multi) boot menu seemed changed and was missing an entry.
I managed to recreate the entry somehow by running "sudo update-grub".
I expected a exact copy would be created/restored by CZ, including the boot menu.
What should I have done instead?
For example, should I unselect "-g auto" when restoring?
Creating the disk-image I used expert-mode and selected "-q1" (force dd).
The grub version in Clonezilla live might be different from that on your restored OS. Therefore the behavior might be different. If you do care, just boot the restored GNU/Linux then run "update-grub", as you mentioned.

I hope someone can shed some light on this.
Tnx!
btw. My issue seems a bit like "Restoring a triboot system":
