I have tried to download multiple versions of stable and alternative stable, up to several generations back. NONE of the images are passing the MD5 hash check. They're all different! I haven't had a single image match MD5, SHA-1, or SHA-256. Have tried downloading on two different machines on two different networks for troubleshooting. Are all the images on the download server corrupt? What gives?

I have also tried generating the MD5 using an online tool as well as an offline standalone application. The hashes match each other but not the CHECKSUM.TXT in the SAME folder from which I downloaded the disk image.

I know nothing next to nothing about Linux but usually follow instructions well. I just tried using TuxBoot to create a Clonzilla Live USB flash drive but keep getting a checksum failure at the end. I assume this problem is similar to the OP.

I did a test on Ubuntu 14.04 with Tuxboot 0.8ppa1~trusty installed, and it worked here. No such issue you have mentioned. The MD5 check has passed here.

I download the file from here: http://tuxboot.org/download/
Run it on windows 10. When I click Install on the USB drive, The error of MD5 fail happens.

Could you please show us more details? Like the version you use, and the steps you have done so that we can try to reproduce the issue here.
Thanks.
Steven.

Did you do a memtest on your machine to make sure the hardware (RAM) is OK?
Steven.
