Been running Clonezilla for a long time.
Got a new computer and now Clonezilla-live V.2.2.4-12-i686-pae.iso
fails after a restart after running Clonezilla.
I have to use a recovery cd of windows to get the mouse to work.
Running Windows 7 pro 64-bit.
Sure could use some help.
Have trouble getting into the Clonezilla forum from Source-forge.
Thanks for Clonezilla.

Surely someone has had the same problem.
This is the only problem I am having with
this new computer.
Is Mr. Shiau the only one that answers questions?
Please help

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Downloaded Clonezila-live V.2.3.2-22-i686-pae.iso.
On a dell t3400 running Windows 7 pro 32-bit,
the program worked fine and did not affect the mouse.
On my 64-bit computer running windows 7 pro 64-bit
the mouse hung after running Clonezilla-live. It
has a Gigabyte MB in it. All the Windows updates.
Have to use a restore cd to fix it.

So you meant after you use Clonezilla live to restored your MS Windows, it booted successfully, but the mouse is not working in your MS Windows?
If so, maybe your Windows failed to detect the mouse. Clonezilla just saves and restores the files. Basically it does not change any drivers.
Or you can try to unplug your mouse, use different one to active it.

Only way I know to solve this is try a later
version of Clonezilla. BUT I had trouble with
a later version and can't remember which one it
was.
