No

I cant provide too much details because im currently taking a backup and writing this from mobile.
When disk is LUKS encrypted, and image device is exFAT, clonezilla tries to write image to

"/tmp/ecryptsomething/luks-crypttab-from-OS.info:nvme1n1p2_crypt.ext4-ptc1-img.gz"
on GUI it gives no error details

on CLI it might say "Invalid argument"

formatting image disk to ext4, or using a filename without colon ":" fixes the issue

    Thanks for your feedback.
This is weird... Actually we do not use any file name like that. I have no idea where it was from.
If possible, please take a photo about the whole screen then share it.
    Thanks.

not sure if email attachments will show here so here's a link as well: https://ibb.co/j8G9ncx
note that pigz/split is not relevant, running without split and/or compression gives the same result

      thanks

I actually can not reproduce this issue. I tested with the latest stable and testing Clonezilla live, i.e., 3.0.2-21 and 3.0.3-5, and both of them saved LUKS device successfully. No any error like you have mentioned.

Attached please find the log files. Let me know if you find anything we can try here. Thanks.

I have used ecryptfs by selecting the encrypt disk image option, maybe that could be it?
Your filename doesn't have "luks-crypttab-from-OS.info", I wonder where that comes from, or what is it?
I'll try as well and report back with detailed logs.

p.s I was using Ubuntu on the LUKS if it makes any difference

It's so confusing to me. You mentioned both LUKS, and ecryptfs. I tried both of them here, i.e., saving a LUKS device and selecting to save it with ecryptfs on an exFAT partition. There was no such issue you mentioned.
I suggest you report the bug in detail again. Mention the version of Clonezilla live you have, and the steps, one by one, in detail from the booting of Clonezilla live. With that, we can try to reproduce this issue here.
    Thanks.
