#328 Clonezilla stable live USB spinning the disk

I've uploaded clonezilla on a USB stick (2.6.1) and there's a weird bug that shouldn't be happening. In order to better explain the bug, I'd better tell you the reproducing steps:

1. Upload clonezilla to a USB stick.
2. Insert any disk in the dvd-rom - could be a dvd with a movie in it, it really doesn't matter what the contents would be.
3. Boot clonezilla from the USB stick and begin the backing up process.
   At this point you will hear the dvd being spinned inside the optical device. There's no point or sense to spin the disk when clonezilla is on a USB stick and is being read from it.

Thanks for your feedback. Have you tried newer stable Clonezilla live, e.g., 2.6.2-15 or 20190707-disco?

I'll try 2.6.2 but I am pretty sure the issue will still be there.
As for reproduction, I have written the steps to reproduce.
