Hi !
I'm new here and I'm from Germany. I want to report a - what I call a bug - thing that I expirienced while the installing process of Clonezilla live 2.6.0.37 stable version or 2.6.1-22 testing
First you have to choose your local language for example: GERMAN
This behaviour isn't so in prevoius versions like 2.5.x.-xx (everthing is alright)
In version 2.6.xxx it goes wrong.
I took some shreenshots...
Actually we use the command "dpkg-reconfigure console-data" from Debian system to configure the keymap. In the photos P1070278_2000x1500.JPG and P1070279_2000x1500.JPG, both lines:
Wählen Sie bitte das Modell der Tastatur dieses Rechners
eine Tastaturbelegung, die zur Tastatur dieses Rechner passt
are German, aren't they?
Or you meant other lines in the lists?
Thanks.

Hi, Steven! Yes, the lines you are speakin' of are german but that is not the point.
I show it to you with some screenshots made within Clonezilla live 2.5.6-22.
Everything is alright. !
All the pictures were taken at the same place of choice .
So it is very easy to see the differences between the two
versions of 2.5.6-22 (ok) and 2.6.1-21(wrong)
I hope this shows the problem good enough?
Additons: the first 3 pictures of both versions 2.5.x and 2.6.x are absolutely correct.
The titel: "Wählen Sie bitte das Modell der Tastatur dieses Rechners." (german...ok)
and the buttons: "Ok" "Abbrechen" (german...ok)
but the line (red marked) : PC genèric de 105 tecles (intl.) seems to be wrong.
And all the following pictures are correkt (title-language and button-language) german, but
all the items for choice are in a different language. (I don't understand) maybe dutch, or french, or whatever ?
Thanks. If this is the issue, I suggest you help us to report the issue to upstream, i.e., Debian.
Because I do not understand German, so it's better you can reproduce this issue and report it to Debian. Here are the steps to reproduce it on Debian live.
Please download the Debian Buster RC1:
http://get.debian.org/images/buster_di_rc1-live/amd64/iso-hybrid/debian-live-buster-DI-rc1-amd64-standard.iso
Boot the iso on a virtual machine, or physical machine. After entering command line, run:
If you can reproduce this issue, then it's the upstream issue. Please report it on:
https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting
Thank you very much.
