Why does clocc require you to dump images? For me, I find that reloading everything doesn't really take all that long, and it helps portability. For example, just yesterday, I recompiled my copy of CMUCL to include the latest fixes (equalp hash fix, array-displacement fix). Using the clocc core file with this version caused cmucl to crash. If I had just loaded the files with this new version, everything would have worked and it did. Ray |
