Sorry. Ok, thanks. In that case, is there a way of getting `xml-read-from-url' to fail quicker? I'm sure it used to (or, if it didn't, it did so with less "stress" on the processor, I noticed all of this because of a lisp.run process sat at the top of a `top' list because my net connection had failed to come up and so the site it was attempting to connect to wasn't there). -- Dave Pearson http://www.davep.org/ |
