As much as I dislike some of the services "here" at SourceForge (mailing archives, "forking") I think it would be a bad idea to change anything about the hosting situation now. There is thankfully a lot more of activity on both mailing lists as well as lots of new commits. Changes to the hosting situation will bring some broken links, confusion and unexpected work.
