building with g++ (DEBUG_GCSAFETY) ends with errors:

../../src/gllib/fnmatch_loop.c:152: error: invalid conversion from
‘const void*’ to ‘const char*’
../../src/gllib/fnmatch_loop.c:203: error: invalid conversion from
‘const char*’ to ‘char*’
....

These are just c++ type conversion errors. I think gllib should always
be compiled with gcc.
