In both case's:

error.o(.text+0x195c):error.c: undefined reference to `errno'
error.o(.text+0x1961):error.c: undefined reference to `errno'
error.o(.text+0x1a31):error.c: undefined reference to `errno'
error.o(.text+0x1a3c):error.c: undefined reference to `errno'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
