Yes, the clisp/tests/README gives credit to its authors.

is probably related.
It is not the same as http://www.cliki.net/XCL .

You can surely remove the #+XCL result cases.
Before removing the files readtable.tst tread.tst tprint.tst, I would first try
to adapt them to clisp and sbcl (unless the ansi-tests or sacla-tests already
contain comprehensive tests of these areas). Remember, the goal is to uncover
bugs.
