Maven2 support has not been implemented yet and as far as I know nobody 
is currently working on that. Contributions would be extremely welcome.

Aside from clirr itself, I don't use maven, so sorry, I can't help you 
much. If you just need a quick check before a release (I saw your 
message on jakarta-commons) I would recomment simply using the 
commandline tool, write the results to a file, and search for "ERROR".

Maybe Vincent (plugin author) can provide improved installation 
instructions for the maven plugin?
