The final release of version 0.5.1 of clichart is now available.
clichart provides tools for quick visualisation of tabular data on the command line by generating, displaying and saving charts, and for extracting that tabular data from text data (like log files). The emphasis here is on quick - the idea is to provide fast ways for you to visualise the relationships in your data.
clichart was originally developed for interactive charting of data from server log files, so its primary audience is probably software developers and system administrators. You can download the new release from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=185843 , or check out the home page at http://clichart.sourceforge.net/ .
This release adds significant functionality to the main clichart module, particularly the ability to show bar charts as well as lines, and to mix the 2 within the one chart (one per Y axis). It also provides much more ability to customise the way the chart is displayed, both from the command line and interactively via the interactive window. See the quickstart guide at http://clichart.sourceforge.net/docs/quickstart.html for some examples
The release also fixes a couple of bugs, particular relating to operation under Windows.
Cheers ................. JD
