Version 1.0 of the applet assumes certain directory names in the IMS CP package which tell the applet how to import the sub packages.
This should not be necessary anymore.

Where to indicate the type? In the root manifest or in the manifest of inner IMS CP-packages? I guess it must be embedded into the manifest of inner IMS CP-packages. The metadata section in a manifest describes the whole manifest, but the field technical requirements must be set for individual sub packages.

The field platform>otherTechnicalRequirements is part of the LOM specification (see
