So, can you add this link to Start Menu by default?

The start menu is designed to emulate the standard classic menu out of the
box. That start menu doesn't include "My Computer".
There are thousands of users of the start menu, each with their own idea what
the menu should look like. It is simply not possible to include everybody's
favorite menu by default.

In the Win7 link to a "My Computer" exists by default, but in a

Well, if Ivo adds the mysettings.ini to Classic Shell 2, then that would fix
the update problem.
I thought about it, and decided against it, at least in a sense to make it the
preferred way to customize the menu.
The main ini file has comments explaining every setting in detail.
mysettings.ini will not have those comments.
Another problem is backwards compatibility. I can't guarantee that the next
version will work with the old ini files.
I may still support it somewhat unofficially, assuming you know the pitfalls
and risks.
