I call on the Americans to visit Syria and meet its beautiful people. They also wanted to know whether I drank alcohol. Certainly the leftist-influenced Democrats will not. So much good reading. But many, including the revered Gen. bbbb Here is a special company that may be set to make a move in the near future - this could be your opportunity to be ahead of the curve! Trade Date : Nov 27 2006 Company : CHINA HEALTH MGT T i c k e r : C N H C Opening Price : $1.44 11-Day Target : $10 Status : 5(5) Big news expected. bbbb That, too, is worth a look. They told me I had the devil in my heart. I very nearly decided not to post it at all this morning, but realized that what I have found might, put together, bring some welcome relief from the upcoming election. They also wanted to know whether I drank alcohol. By analogy: If you were unscrupulous and wanted to sell one of your dogs, both cowards, would you feel more likely to get away with selling the one that barks a lot or the one that whimpers? but we knew they'd do that all along. " Not because I'm so humble, I'm not, but because I don't see any reason to be more humble than I am. I'm with him there, although I have another category of comments I will not post: The confusing. Vo Nguyen Giap, under whose command the Vietnamese defeated the French and then the Americans, send their children to study and live in the U. Nor does visiting the country transform someone into an expert. Nor does visiting the country transform someone into an expert. In that respect, this is a good thing. There is, nevertheless, a significant portion of its citizenry who do not necessarily oppose America. I no longer am going to have to carry the water for people who I don't think deserve having their water carried. I couldn't vote for Gore, but I didn't see Bush stopping the environmentalists, either. This misintegrated worldview could gain significant traction amongst a large segment of Americans who aren't otherwise armed with a opposing strong rational explicit philosophy. My gut feel was indifference to the results. One need not actually go to Syria to know whether or not it is a state sponsor of terrorism. But many, including the revered Gen. They also wanted to know whether I drank alcohol. It doesn't happen that often, but once in a while, I will get a comment that just doesn't make any sense to me. Lots of good stuff here, and I just barely skimmed through the feeds. Talk about some truly hazardous "second hand smoke". The upper-middle class has been bought off by this pact, which makes a virtue of hypocrisy. It would be the GOP that would have the easiest time selling such idiocy as continued racial quotas and new carbon taxes because most Americans would not question their motives. They told me I had the devil in my heart. I call on the Americans to visit Syria and meet its beautiful people. My first stab at making sense of this conflict is that we were fast approaching the point at which the Republicans needed to be dislodged if we weren't there already. Bush's accelerated buckling at the knees will hasten substantive debate or consequences. but we knew they'd do that all along. The Dhimmocrats are gleefully drawing up lists of Bush Administration officials to impeach or try for war crimes, and coming up with all sorts of idiotic legislation. And then Kyoto, I believe, exempted developing countries from its emissions obligations. This is something I will be sorting out perhaps for some time. For example, every Monday my host family would gather around the kitchen table to talk about sex. I moderate comments, so those just don't get posted. My first stab at making sense of this conflict is that we were fast approaching the point at which the Republicans needed to be dislodged if we weren't there already. If you haven't done so already, read it. Important breaking news for my international readers! My immediate thought is, "How dare you talk to me about humility? |

Hi All, I noticed that Clanlib uses power of two textures when supporting non-power-of-two surfaces. What color are the unused texels? In certain rotation angles, the filtering mechanism seems to use the unused texels' colors. On ATI cards, I see bright green filtered lines, on NVidia cards, nothing. Which means that either: Clanlib sets unused texels to bright green. ATI's filtering math pulls some amount of color value from those "unused" texels, NVidia does not. Clanlib does not initialize the unused texels. ATI's driver sets them to bright green, NVidia sets them to bright green also, but the BILINEAR_FILTERING math doesn't touch those texels. Clanlib does not initialize the unused texels. ATI's driver sets them to bright green, NVidia's drivers set them to transparent black or something else that is unlikely to be seen. Both ATI and NVidia's bilinear filtering math will use color from the adjacent texel beyond the edge of the texture, but ATI's choice of unused texel color is more noticable. Which is the case? -Tim Kerchmar |

Hi Andrei, thanks for your response. I've found that the signal emitted when you click several times the mouse is the double click instead of the single click, so as I don't need to keep track of the double click action, I've referenced both signals to my mouseDown function and it seems to work fine. Hi, I faced the same problem and sort of found a solution, which satisfies my for the time being, but my solution is a dirty hack and not a way to go. Hi, I'm wondering how to fix a problem that I've found working with mouse signals. When my application gets a mouse down followed by a mouse up executes the code related to a click (I mean, if you have a button the mouse down will change the surface drawn, and the mouse up will execute the action). The problem is that, if I click fast the button several times, I get a lot of mouse up events, but no mouse downs. I don't know if its a bug or the problem is mine...any suggestions? Thanks for the attention; Xavi |

You are a Windows user, aren't you?
Any Linux user interested in stealing resources would use the 'file'
program with this effect (listfile is a renamed zip):
$ file listfiles.dat
listfiles.dat: Zip archive data, at least v2.0 to extract
$
If you want protect your data just renaming seems a little too weak to me.

I did this for my game, with one exception: I renamed the zip file with
a different extension :)
This way, everyone knows my file "resources.dat" has all my game data,
but most don't guess that it's a commonly available format that anyone
can acces lol

http://clanlib.org/docs/clanlib-0.8.0/Overview/resources-1.html Near the bottom you'll find a section called Resources In Datafiles: <snip> It is possible to compile resources used in a resource definition file into a datafile. This can be useful for a various of reasons, the two most obvious being having only one file containing a large set of resource data, and compression of resource data. The datafile format of choice in ClanLib is zip - ClanLib has native zip archive support via the CL_Zip_Archive interface. To create a datafile for your resources, simply zip the resource definition file and its related resource data files into an archive and construct your resources like this: CL_ResourceManager resources( "resources.xml", new CL_Zip_Archive("resources.zip"), true); That's it. Resources are now loaded from the zip archive instead. The above code will cause it look for a resource definition file called resources.xml inside the resources.zip There's one little detail worth paying attention to: compression. Depending on speed versus size, you may want to instruct your zipping tool to store (some or all) files in uncompressed form inside the archive. Loading from an uncompressed file is in most cases faster, but in particular if a resource needs to do random file access (seek around in a file), compressed files can produce a significant overhea </snip> Now, if you only add some sort of password support to CL_Zip_Archive, you should have a solution that might work :) On 10/31/06, Dustin Lehr <le...@ho...> wrote: > Hi everyone, > > I was wondering if any of you knew of any way to hide the resources of a > game. Maybe... If your game is not open source you can encrypt the data and decrypt it with a password hidden in the source code? Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you knew of any way to hide the resources of a game. Is there any way to archive, or zip my game's pictures, sprites, resource xml documents, etc. so the end-user is unable to view and modify them?
