I noticed that Clanlib uses power of two textures when supporting 
non-power-of-two surfaces. What color are the unused texels? In certain 
rotation angles, the filtering mechanism seems to use the unused texels' 
colors. On ATI cards, I see bright green filtered lines, on NVidia cards, 
nothing.

Which means that either:

Clanlib sets unused texels to bright green. ATI's filtering math pulls some 
amount of color value from those "unused" texels, NVidia does not.

Clanlib does not initialize the unused texels. ATI's driver sets them to 
bright green, NVidia sets them to bright green also, but the 
BILINEAR_FILTERING math doesn't touch those texels.

else that is unlikely to be seen. Both ATI and NVidia's bilinear filtering

Hi Andrei, thanks for your response. 
I've found that the signal emitted when you click several times the mouse is 
the double click instead of the single click, so as I don't need to keep 
track of the double click action, I've referenced both signals to my 
mouseDown function and it seems to work fine.

I faced the same problem and sort of found a solution, which satisfies my
for the time being, but my solution is a dirty hack and not a way to go.
What I found is:
Try to move the mouse when fast clicking. You will notice that the mouse
downs are received.
I did not investigate why it happens, but whatever....
If you're interested in what I did, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi, I'm wondering how to fix a problem that I've found working with mouse 
signals. When my application gets a mouse down followed by a mouse up 
executes the code related to a click (I mean, if you have a button the mouse 
down will change the surface drawn, and the mouse up will execute the 
action). 
The problem is that, if I click fast the button several times, I get a lot of 
mouse up events, but no mouse downs. I don't know if its a bug or the problem 
is mine...any suggestions?

Well, it's not like I was writing Quake 5.  I wasn't too worried about 
people stealing my stuff, so it worked well enough for that project :)

Like Kenneth already said, if you want more security you can always 
implement the password encryption for zip files.

Any Linux user interested in stealing resources would use the 'file' 
program with this effect (listfile is a renamed zip):

$ file listfiles.dat
listfiles.dat: Zip archive data, at least v2.0 to extract
$

If you want protect your data just renaming seems a little too weak to me.

I did this for my game, with one exception: I renamed the zip file with 
a different extension :)

This way, everyone knows my file "resources.dat" has all my game data, 
but most don't guess that it's a commonly available format that anyone 
can acces lol

Near the bottom you'll find a section called Resources In Datafiles:

It is possible to compile resources used in a resource definition file
into a datafile. This can be useful for a various of reasons, the two
most obvious being having only one file containing a large set of
resource data, and compression of resource data. The datafile format
of choice in ClanLib is zip - ClanLib has native zip archive support
via the CL_Zip_Archive interface. To create a datafile for your
resources, simply zip the resource definition file and its related
resource data files into an archive and construct your resources like
this:

That's it. Resources are now loaded from the zip archive instead. The
above code will cause it look for a resource definition file called

tool to store (some or all) files in uncompressed form inside the
archive. Loading from an uncompressed file is in most cases faster,
but in particular if a resource needs to do random file access (seek

Maybe... If your game is not open source you can encrypt the data and 
decrypt it with a password hidden in the source code?
