Ramifications of pointing clamfs at /?

I'm seeking whole system, fire and forget, on access, scanning. Let the intelligence of the 'system' figure out what's what.
What are the practical ramifications of:
<filesystem root="/" mountpoint="/clamfs/" public="yes" />
Or, even better:
<filesystem root="/" mountpoint="/" public="yes" />
System conflicts, race conditions, etc.? BOOM?
Best way to go about pointing it at /, having magic happen, and getting on with my day?
