Welcome to the CipherCrack homepage! CipherCrack is a very powerful cracking utility for the cracking of codes and ciphers. The software is designed to work with classic hand ciphers, as opposed to modern computer-implemented cryptography. Due to the nature of the interface and available tools, CipherCrack works quite well even when there is no insight as to the nature of the cipher being cracked. It essentially allows the user to specify or create a cipher or family of ciphers, and then implement the decoding of such ciphers on the ciphertext. The large range of user involvement, from manually searching for patterns to full automation makes CipherCrack truly a one-of-a-kind software.
