I compiled cinepaint-1.0-4 and when I go to Color Management > General Setting,
uncheck 'Copy Oyranos Settings' and check 'Colormanage new displays By Default',
the 'Profile Settings' will always appear on 'None'

I have to play with them back and forth, unchecking them and rechecking them, and then
the profiles appear after I close the preferences and reopen it. Then if I pick
profiles for all of them and click save, when I go back and check them, they will go
back to showing all none.

These profiles will never stay on the settings I pick, sooner or later they just keep
showing none.

These are the profiles I am talking about always on none;

Assume Image Profile
Editing Profile
Display Profile
Proof Profile

These are the dependencies I have for cinepaint;

fltk-1.1.10
ftgl-2.1.3-rc5
icc-profiles-openicc-1.3.1
optipng-0.7.5
oyranos-0.9.4
yajl-2.1.0

    I just went back and removed oyranos and compiled cinepaint over without it.

    Now in the 'Color Management' > 'General Settings', when I check 'Colormanage new displays By Default', all the profiles under 'Profile Settings' stay on none, I can never get the profiles to appear.

    I've tried with the profiles in both /paths with no suceess;

    ~/.color/icc
    /usr/share/color/icc

    I also added in; iccprofiles-2011 from eci.org

    Here's the contents of what I have;

    Adobe_ICC_Profiles_(end-user)-2011
    ECI_Offset_2009-2011
    OpenICC
    Oyranos
    PhotoGamut
    basICColor
    eciRGB_v2_profile-2011
    lcms

    turns out my issue was with the fact that I had not set a temp directory in Preferences
