Installation (Swift Current Research and Development Centre)

With the move to SharePoint, we need to set CIERA up to work with the new Cereals – Swift Current RDC - CIERA Sharepoint folder (if CIERA has never been installed, skip step 2 & 3):
1) Make sure you have the Cereals – Swift Current RDC – CIERA folder on your File Explorer. If they are not found in File Explorer, go to the SharePoint website, and click on Add shortcut to OneDrive.
2) In you Search Bar on the bottom left of your task bar, enter Add/Remove Programs This window will pop up:

3) Find CIERA and click on the … and the following will come up:

4) Select Remove the application from this computer. Delete any CIERA shortcuts from your desktop.
5) When done, go to Cereals – Swift Current RDC – CIERA/CIERA Install in your File Explorer’s OneDrive.
6) Click on Setup.exe. When it asks whether you want this app to run or not, click Run
7) CIERA will download and install.
8) In OneDrive/Cereals – Swift Current RDC – CIERA/CIERA Install, create a shortcut to CIERA Launcher.application:
a. Opposite click anywhere inside the folder, select New and then Shortcut

b. Go to the Cereals – Swift Current RDC – CIERA/CIERA Install folder and click on CIERA Launcher.application. Click OK

c. Click on Next
d. Rename the shortcut to CIERA
e. Cut and Paste the shortcut created in the Cereals – Swift Current RDC – CIERA/CIERA Install folder to your desktop
9) Everything will now run
