The Coefficient of Parentage (COP), also known as the Coefficient of Kinship measures the genetic relationship between strains of germplasm according to the proportion of identical alleles that they share by descent through their pedigrees. COP values are therefore important measures of genetic diversity. Two times the COP value is known as the Coefficient of Relationship and is related to the additive genetic correlation between the strains. This makes them a powerful statistic for analyzing breeding strategies. - From the paper "What is the coefficient of parentage (COP)?" by Graham McLaren, Ian Delacy and Jose Crossa

Coefficient of Parentage analysis
1) A germplasm list in SetGen with at least 2 germplasm in it. You can review how to do that here
1) Choose a germplasm list from the treeview
2) Click on "Create an output file (.xlsx)" and choose a filename and path for where you want to save the output.
3) Click on "Run Coefficient of Parentage Analysis" button to start the analysis.
