I would like this project to eventually be what MS - WinHTTP should have been..
The first few tasks as I see them would focus in:
- Adding documentation (I'm working on it)
- Linux\Unix compatibility.
- HTTP Keep alive support
- Integration with THE Open SSL project to enable TLS\SSL connections
- Adding support to PUT\DEL and other not so famous HTTP verbs
- Integrating with the MIT-Kerberos stuck to enable Kerberos authentication support
- Adding support for NTLM authentication.
Other tasks could be:
- Creating a Win32 dll (or a Com object) for Windows users and scripts writers.
- ?
