Anonymous CVS check-out isn't working for me.

For <modulename> I've tried ".", "cr" and "chromium".

I keep getting:
	setuid failed: Invalid argument
	cvs [checkout aborted]: authorization failed: server
	  cvs.chromium.sourceforge.net rejected access


Ideas?

Sean Ahern has the same problem.  I've opened a SourceForge bug:

P.S.  The correct module name is in fact "cr".

Browsing the SourceForge bugs, it looks like this is happening to other
projects as well.  Unfortunately, it looks like this has been happening for
several days now.

In the Site Status page, at the bottom, they mention:

    Anonymous CVS 
        Anonymous CVS accounts may not work for recently created projects.
        This is due to a user ID limitation in the Linux kernel.(>65535
        users) It will be fixed with the move to LDAP authentication.

If I'm reading this correctly, Chromium's id is 16529, so we shouldn't be
affected.  But I could easily be wrong about the number.

Greg, it sounds like you may just have to put a tarball up instead.

I'm getting the exact same problem.

I can browse the tree and access individual files using the Web-based stuff
that Sourceforge has, but anonymous CVS is bailing.  I was assuming that it
was my own ignorance of how to use CVS, but it sounds more than that now.

Do the developers (Randy and Greg) have to "turn on" anonymous access in
Sourceforge?
