should have automatic report scheduling feature..
user will selected report name,and time when internate connection is available POS should send reports to preconfigured mail ids
I do not think this is a good idea. Imagine that the User at the PC is serving a client and all in a sudden the system leaves the screen and goes to the Reports and prints and sends something to someone.
For this to happen, even the permission for ALL USERS must include the creating and printing of Reports, which most shop/restaurant owners may not even want.
Reports are for Managers and / or Administrators, not for the waiters.

HI if you write your reports in Jasperstudio you can then have then scheduled and run automatically using jasperstart, Thats how I do it, I run profit reports and inventory reports at night and save them as PDF's
