You need to run Chocolate-Doom in windowed mode with grab mouse off and try to resize the window. There's two screenshots to show the problem. It's happening on Windows 2000 and XP but not on windows 7.

I can't confirm this on WinXP Pro SP3 regardless of the display configuration. When resizing the window, I need to at least double it's dimensions in order to make it stick. If resized to less than that, the window will automatically go back to it's original size after releasing the mouse button, which I presume is the way it was meant to work, but this alone doesn't trigger that particular graphical abnormality from your screenshots. The white area is completely transparent: http://i54.tinypic.com/34djyvp.png

Maybe it's a problem that happen only with my video card. It's happening with three computers and two are using the same type of video card.

I found a way to reproduce the bug on Windows 7. You need to stretch the window using the further upper left and it will cause something resembling to a HOM because the square were is the game will follow this side and and the empty part will create a HOM.
