how can i know the id of the topic in a chm file after creating it from a word document?

You can't. It's dynamic because it can be more than one topic with the same text. You you REALLY need to know it, you can open the help project generated, and see it there.

If you need the ID it to open the help, you can use the text of the topic title to open it.
