FYI, I made a version of this on github.com at github.com/jamison-wilde/chiralscroll

It removes most of the external deps on wxFormBuilder and adseil, etc. and no need for vcpkg.

Bug fixes/Improvements:

• Removed legacy deps.
• Shows nice HID name in settings.
• Chiral scrolling is now better (IMO) at persisting directional intent, during long scroll sessions where CW and CCW are swapped back and forth to go up and down.
• Debounced the scroll event flush.
• Wix Installer.

Really good tool, hope you don't mind, and feel free to grab anything. I was basically too lazy to figure out hg, apologies. I love that it still scrolls in Explorer file tree, where two finger gesture scroll brings my laptop to its knees.

I took a look at your changes and they look good, although I have no interest in removing external dependencies from the project. I did quite like how you got human readable device names though, so I have incorporated that code into the project with some minor changes.

You are of course absolutely welcome to continue to maintain your own fork! That is why it is MIT Licensed.
