Hi chaps, I think this must be a problem that many people have run up against but I cant seem to find much information on solving it. Basically Chiba, is a Servlet and so runs in its own context in the Servlet Engine (Tomcat or Jetty here) and so maintains its own session information. We have an existing webapplication which runs as a Servlet in the same Servlet engine as Chiba. However as it is a seperate servlet it has its own context and so its own sessions. Now I would like to replace the messy HTML forms in our Servlet web application with Chiba + XForms. The process is that a user comes to our web application and log's in (a session is created and their details stored in the session), I then need to give them an XForm to complete, no problem, just redirect them to the Chiba XForm URL. BUT the problem is when they have completed the XForm and Chiba posts the XML document back to our webapplication, is is posted onto a new session with our web application and not the users existing session. So I need a mechanism to share the session between our Servlet and the Chiba Servlet or to be able to somehow pass the JSESSIONID into Chiba when I call the XForm and have Chiba submit the form result onto that session. How can I acheive this please?
