#12 Creation of super users
As it is now there are to types of users:
Administrators and normal users. I think it would be a
good idea to include a new user "super user" (or
something like that), and at the same time restrict the
privileges of the administrators.
We current have quite a large number of administrators,
that in principle could do quite some damage
(unintentionally of course) and they really do not need
to have full access to the system. I think the
following could be reserved for the "super users":
1. Creating/deleting locations.
2. Creating/deleting user groups.
3. Changing rights of other administrators.
4. And several others I am sure...?
This would give some of our current "technically
challenged" administrators some more peace of mind,
knowing that they cannot do serious damage, and would
also make the system safer, as the number of
administrators continue to grow.
If possible it would be fantastic if it would be
possible for the super user(s) to manipulate the rights
of individual administrators and (users?) simply by
ticking of some boxes on a dedicated page - but that
might be a little to much to ask...
