I rather like it. Does it look different on windows? There is no need for such a basket. If you want to remove a piece, you simply drag it outside of the board. Ideally, only the chessboard + GameView + Databases + GameList windows should be opened as default, with the square indicating side to move very well visible. Afterwards the user can do what he likes the most. Let me add one more thing that I like a lot and that has dramatically improved usability: the fact that now the chessboard expands automatically to the maximum allowed space when the ChessX window is enlarged. With 0.8 it was not this way, and this is a wonderful improvement. Thanks, Bruno. |
