Hi Andy, The only developer left is Michal Rudolf, who is currently busy in some other projects and not actively coding for ChessX for a while. ChessX in the current state is very stable (it only crashes for me sometimes because of a small bug somewhere that is pretty reproducible and very hard to hit), and engines run well within the program. You know the rules in open source programs: if you really want to do something, just do it! :) ChessX is nice and there are some people using it, so you can start from there instead of "reinventing the wheel". I will test and provide feedback on new code, as usual, as long as I will have spare time. Greetings, Bruno. |
