I'm looking for an alternative clean databases with SCID.
I like it that I can drag a bunch of databases to ChessX and they open at once.
To clean the pgn's I want to export the databases and overwrite the original.
I can do this in ChessX, but I always have to navigate again to the location where the databases are stored.
I would prefere the defoult would be that ChessX would export automaticly to the folder from the last opened database. Or if I could navigate to this database, and it would remember it for the other databases I like to export in the same folder.

If you have all your databases in one folder, you could switch the default database folder in the settings (Preferences->Database). I wouldn't want to follow with the default database folder the last file, as this might lead to databases being spread all over the disk. I have so many programs where I save a file and then have to ask myself afterwards: where has the file just gone?
