No

When clicking "Analyze", the selected engine starts doing that, but stops after a second or so. The displayed thinking time stays at "0:00:00" forever. Obviously, this renders the feature almost useless, as evaluations can change drastically when analyzing longer. The behavior seems to have been introduced with 1.1; my old installation worked fine. It happens with all engines.

At the bottom of the window / right side of the statusbar you can select the speed (in seconds) for analysis and auto responder feature in a slider.

Indeed, I did not notice that. However, the maximum value seems to be 10 seconds, which is still way too low. There has to be a way to let the engine run until stopped by user intervention, which used to be how it worked.

Oh, I see it now -- sliding all the way to the left means infinite. Well, that certainly was not intuitive ;)
